The social media members called
Netizens were searching for the controversial open letter that was published to
the Filipino people from the alleged dummy of VP Binay Antonio Tiu.
The issue erupted on the public because
University of the Philippines (UP) immediately denied that the businessman Mr. Antonio
Tiu earned his doctorate degree on the mentioned college.
The said official report cited
that the UP-NCPAG sent a letter to the said editor of Philippine Star after the
latter published a one whole page advertisement, so called “So
the truth may be known: An open letter to the Filipino people from Antonio
‘Tony’ Tiu”. The said open letter that appeared on October 21 issue of Philippine
Star.
In the said one whole page
advertisement, Mr. Tiu alleged dummy of Vice President Binay narrated his
educational background together with his business credentials, and the fact
that he is an executive chairman of the Agriculture Inc., or known as ANI, and the
chairman at the same time president of Greenergy Holdings Inc., both a public-listed
companies.
Mr. Tiu strongly insisted and explained
that he’s not a dummy of VP Binay since he owns the so-called “Binay
Hacienda.”
