Philippine Government Spent Php41 billion since 2010 on Modernization Program

Aquino Administration is serious on the fulfillment of Modernization Program for the Philippine Defense, since 2010 a total of Php41.2 billion was spent for the military since” this was according to the department of defense.

We are currently on upgrade” the committees of Philippine Defense are doing its best to organize our acquisitions, by following the established procedures and rules set by law.


Before the six year terms of Aquino expires on 2016, Philippine Armed Forces capability upgrade is its main centerpiece, forcing government to improve military capabilities to counter internal and external security threats.

Chinas territorial threat on our territory demands our Philippine defense to be upgraded as such modernization was necessary in order for our Philippine Air force has the capability to guard our national territories.

Sixteen projects on our Navy were already completed 3 years after when Aquino commissioned in the Philippine office as President, our Navy is still on the way to received additional naval helicopters, strategic vessels and amphibious vehicles.

Our Philippine Air force to received eighteen basic trainer units with Php621 million worth and eight Combat Helicopters amounting toPhp2.86 billion those are being used by Air force commissioned on Search and Rescue.


The revised modernization program of the defense department for 2013 to 2017 has a budget of Php85.3 billion.
