The acquisitions of military
vehicles, aircrafts and military vessels as part of the Philippine Defense Modernization
Program, obviously mark a change to the countries military capabilities.
“Now Philippine Defense gained
some muscle” As the government continues its effort to upgrade its
identity and capacity as the national defenders of integrity, we are now on the
“minimum
defense posture”, expectedly more military equipment's will be arriving.
According to the National Defense
Spokesman Paul Galvez, projects worth Php6.2 billion is on the way to be
completed by the end of 2014 with a total of 14 projects, and also another 10
projects worth Php17.3 billion will be completed on the next year of 2015.
Philippine President Aquino was proud
to the Defense Department with the ongoing modernization programs in which it
has surpassed previous administrations.
“Php9.2 billion with a total of 37
projects completed under Aquino Administration, and more to come in support for
the Philippine military upgrade”
“We are getting closer and closer
to our desire in terms of readiness and capability in effect to the recent
