China’s Unsure Fight for Territorial Claims

"Nine-dash-line" is what they fight for, but its useless.

An aggressive territorial claim by China on South China Sea creates tension to those affected countries. Those affected countries files dispute cases to UNCLOS for its unlawful action and seeks or a quick response in order to protect its territory.

They have been notified and warning has been sent, yet they strongly deny those accusations and instead reverse the case making those who file dispute as illegal occupants to their territory.

Historically Vietnam and China became allies against US in 1960’s – 70’s. But as of today as rising tension towards territorial disputes arises, friendship might be affected. Though China is confident with its fight on reclamation, there is no strong legal document that could back up its claim.

“Nine dash-line” China is much serious on this self claimed argument. Japan is keeping an eye every action they made. If they continue to submit invalid claims that are against the law of the body, violent episode might happen in the future to put an end to that issue.
