Israel Made Tanks to Philippines

Philippine Armed Forces will acquire newly made with advance capabilities tanks made from Israel, this is part of the modernization program in which it will increase the defense capabilities of AFP.

In an insider report the budget is around USD20 million or Php822 million, this happens after the successful bidding process of the national defense. “For the record the winning bidder came from Israel in the name of ELBIT System Ltd”.


ELBIT System ltd. Pass the bidding of 28 armored personnel carriers APC’s that includes 25mm unmanned turrets, 12.7mm remote controlled weapon stations and fire control systems for 9mm turrets.


“The acquisition of new tanks plays a very significant role on military’s overall operations in the Philippine, since on the new tanks the gunner now is on the low side of the tank and everything is digital especially on targeting and with high accuracy rate due to its new weapon system,” Lt.Col. Ramon Zagala said on a conference.

    Yep, 28 upgraded m113 from israel this gonna be here 2015 while the 114 m113 stock would be delivered by 4th quarter of 2014 by batch.
