Secretary del Rosario fears that
China may impose air restriction over West Philippine Sea as it scampers to
actualize its claim over the area.
During the 51st
anniversary of National Defense College Secretary del Rosario said that “We see
an increasing presence of aggressive behavior and confrontational actions by
China that dangerously intimidate the security, freedom, peace and security of
navigation over flight in the region."
China is now striking an
expansionist agenda in a rushing method to actualize their claim before the
final decision of the Arbitral Tribunal on the Philippine submission.
Department of Foreign Affairs
assumes that they will file another verbale in the latest Chinese vessel
incursion in Reed Bank or Recto Bank.
The proposed Triple Action Plan
by the Department of Foreign Affairs which will bring initiatives that
Philippines and other petitioner countries has been supportive in the past
years. One of the plans includes the cessation of activities in the disputed
areas.
