Former President Ramos said on
that Aquino he can try for another term but warned for on overstaying in power.
Ramos told on an interview, “Aquino
should make a categorical statement if he wants to amend Philippine
Constitution and seek re-election in the next Presidential Election 2016.”
Ramos points were “if some people and other leaders want it,
then that is the time that he will go for it.”
"Going up to top is not obligatory
but coming down is mandatory since you cannot live on top forever,"
former President Ramos said on a TV interview facing directly on camera, "You
got it?"
If Aquino wants to stay in the
Palace after 2016, then as of now he must do something before going through
motions to be reelected.
"He must formulate a categorical declaration,
'I have to run, since I have to look
after my legacy or my reforms were not yet completed and if this needs modification
to the Philippine Constitution, let's do it,'" former President Ramos
said.
