A total of 53,000 farmers received aid from Italy worth Php2.5 Billion

In Manila Philippines, a total of 53,000 families with farms become the recipients of the Italian government aid worth Php2.5 Billion.

The said Italian Assistance to Philippine IARCDSP (Agrarian Reform Community Development Support Program) its manager Marohomsalic said that the assistance given aimed to develop the rural communities in places of Mindanao.


IARCDSP started February of 2013 under the MOA signed by DAR (Department of Agrarian Reform) and Italian government. The said aid is part of European Union’s assistance contribution to peace process in the land of Mindanao.


“Our validating committed started its validation process on areas that will be covered and will be consulted by local leaders on immediate needs communities,” said by Marohomsalic.
