Algerian Navy soon to have its first
of the six 300 Super Lynx chopper following the said conclusion of the armed
flight trials of first aircraft by the AgustaWestland at factory company in the
Somerset UK.
According to the Flight
International, the Algerian Navy 300s was already pictured in the flight trials
while carrying on a maximum load of eight (8) Mokopa air-to-surface missiles
made by Denel Dynamics a South African manufacturer in arms.
The spotted Super Lynx was the
first batch of six ordered units by the Algerian way back 2012 to conclude a fully
armed defense. Though there has no official statement on the said test-flights
from the manufacturer, it was believed that Lynx 300s will soon be delivered to
the Algerian Navy before end of 2014 and the units will be deployed to support Navy’s
two A200 Meko class frigates ordered March of 2012.
