Algieri fight will take place China in Macau and both fighters are now gearing
up for the most anticipated boxing matches of the year.
"This will be a great fight, I
hope Pacquiaois gonna train hard for this coming fight, because Chris Algieri
has the size advantage," Bob Arum said. "He is also a very
intelligent kid, and he moves well."
"Manny has to be on top of his
game," Arum added.
"Manny's is guaranteed to be not
less than USD20 million," said Bob Arum. "But
what Chris is getting, that's up to his promoter, but I'm paying him $2.75
million."
When he was asked about Manny’s
tax woes, Bob Arum said: that " Philippines has a very good judicial system
and Manny went to court in the Philippines and got an injunction against the
tax people, because what they were doing was absolutely insane."
Bob Arum said that it is
inappropriate for Pacquiao to make comment on the government officials. He also
believes that President Aquino III will take action.
