Special Negative treatment to Pemberton

The President of the Philippines has denied allegation that government of the Philippines giving a special treatment to the Private Class Pemberton of the US Marine.

"The said killing suspect treated badly," Philippine President to Pemberton at Presidential Forum of Foreign Correspondents and the Association of Philippines.


Private Class Pemberton, the alleged suspect in killing of the Filipino transgender Laude, was then transferred to the detention facility at the Camp Aguinaldo Quezon City.

President Aquino also said that Pemberton getting "special negative treatment in effect" since he was already detained in the detention as case started.

President then pointed out if suspect is a Filipino, he will not be at this time of the case.
"The US Marine suspect not given privilege" President Aquino told reporters.

Number of sectors criticized government's treatment to the suspect including the Senator Santiago, who presided a Senate hearing on the transgender slay.
