Vice President of the Philippines
Binay can no longer accept being called “thief” that his lawyers are now
mulling to sue his accusers.
“We are now contemplating already
(filling a case), we have been called from left to right, up and down as
thieves,” VP Binay told newsmen in Tabuelan.
Binay said that those accusations
have been hurting not just him but his family that they amassed super—wealth
through the kickbacks from the Makati projects.
He also dismissed allegations “baseless
and politically—motivated.”
Being leading contender in presidential
race in the next election based on surveys, Vice President claimed that all the
accusations against him are meant to derail his Presidential plan to replace
Aquino.
However the vice president did
not name personalities that he plans to file a suit. Binay brushed aside the criticisms
that he was already on “campaign mode” with visits to provinces.
