Binay's No Show on the Senate Hearing on Makati building overpricing controversy

The Philippine Senate Blue Ribbon sub-committee resumed its analysis on the overpriced Makati building. A usual like the first hearings, VP BInay ignores the senate invitations.

Makati City Mayor "Junjun" Binay his son, was also absent during the third hearing, but instead of facing concerns in the senate the mayor sent a letter to the sub-committee.

The elder Binay (Vice President Binay) criticized Senate investigation for being politically motivated and biased and intended to damage the figure of his family.

VP Binay is willing to face but in a fair investigation.

Makati Rep. Abigail Binay in a television interview said that there was no formal invitation from Senate panel or a subpoena that will oblige vice president Binay her father to attend the inquiry.

Vice president Jejomar and his son Junjun are currently facing plunder protest over the allegedly overpriced construction of the Makati building. But still both denied that they received kickbacks from said controversial P2 billion projects.
