Philippine Armed Forces is now
preparing for the resumption of its offensive operation against New People’s
Army as ceasefire agreement about to end midnight of January 19.
As the ceasefire ends, it is
expected that military operations will be back, government forces will continue to hunt down those criminals and enforce the law.

It has been announced last month
that government will implement a 31 day long ceasefire with NPA, this action by
the AFP will temporarily halts its conduct on offensive operations towards the
criminals.
On the other hand, NPA suspended
also its offensive plans dated January 15-19 in respect with Pope Francis visit
in the country.
Meanwhile the CPP accused the
Philippine Military for the violation of the ceasefire in connection with the
deployment of military troops in some parts of Mindanao. Military denied those
allegations but instead challenged the communist rebels to present a proof in
support to their submitted complains.
But military officials believed
that there was no violation since there was no military offensive operation
launched.
