The absence of Moro Islamic Liberation
Front in the senate hearing yesterday creates numerous question mark by senators
on how serious the MILF group in pursuant of the peace negotiations with the
government after the January 25 fallen44 bloody massacre.
Senator Cayetano asked members of
peace panel if the administration was in negotiation with terrorist, in which
Coronel Ferrer the head of government panel negotiated peace deal with MILF in
2014, she replied that MILF is not a terrorist organization.
The senator cited numerous
reports showing MILF’s connection with the terrorist organizations.
Cayetano is pointing out, why
talking peace with MILF if it is very obvious that they indeed protected the International
terrorist Marwan known as the bomb maker, with a 6 million dollar bounty from
United States Bureau of Investigation.
If they are serious with the
deal, then it is there obligation not to let criminals enter its exclusively
controlled territory and instead help the government in arresting them.
