Philippine OV-10 Bronco Rockwell

PAF (Philippine Air Force) received the 24 OV—10As from United States in late 1991, then it was followed later by nine units still from United States, and other eight ex—Thai Air Force OV—10Cs in 2003–2004.

The Bronco Rockwell operated by 16th Attack Squadron and the 25th Composite Attack Squadron of 15th Strike Wing that is based in Sangley Point, Cavite. PAF flies the Broncos on search and rescue operations in parts of Philippines.

The two women combat pilots in PAF flew the OV—10s with 16th. This squadron flew the anti—terrorist operations in Jolo Islands.

The Philippine Air Force Broncos repeatedly used in the air strikes against the Moro Islamic Liberation Front positions during the ongoing fighting in 2011, and two were used in air strike on 2012 which resulted the death of the three Abu Sayyaf and the Jemaah Islamiyah commanders.

Philippine Air Force OV-10s reportedly modified the unit in order to employ modern smart bombs.

Some OV-10A were upgraded to OV-10M (SLEP) with four-bladed propellers. Five OV-10Cs provided by Thailand in 2003-2004. Upgraded to deliver Paveway LGB. The last official count was 8, but all are grounded since one unit met an accident June 2013.
