China’s Act of Disrespect on Muslims

Ramadan – Holiest occasion by Muslims.

But now, China’s Muslim in northwest has been regulated not to take part on its Holy tradition in celebrating Ramadan the “fasting”. This annual celebration has been followed by most Islamic followers.


The day before the official Ramadan Celebration, China authorities announced in local organizations, school websites and government agencies to prevent promoting religion on government offices and schools.

“So they are hereby mandated to follow the official rule and therefore should not practice and avoid fasting.”

No teacher was allowed to participate in the activities related to religion” a statement posted on a website of a grade school in Xinjiang.  Bans have been imposed even in the past Ramadan, but for this year it is sensitive as the country of Xinjiang is on heightened alert due to foreign attacks by Muslim extremist in which the government blames.

The ban released by the government resulted to a crackdown in which 380 Muslims were arrested in a period of one month
