Tropical storm has been sighted
outside Philippine Area of responsibility (PAR), the tropical depression has
been classified as typhoon.
Philippine Weather Bureau said that the typhoon
is expected to enter on PAR this Sunday. “Neoguri”
as its international codename, was located 1,410 km northeast of Catanduanes.
When it enters the Philippine
Area of responsibility, PAGASA will name it as typhoon “Florita”. This is the 6th typhoon to enter our country
this year. Typhoon Neoguri is expetedo enhance
southwest monsoon and this will bring moderate rains to large portion of Luzon
and Visayas and some areas in Mindanao.
Other areas in the country is
expected to experience fair weather, some cloudy with rain and thunderstorms.
Coastal areas will have moderate and rough seas.
Everyone is advised to keep track
on weather updates and be cautious for those who live near coastal and mountainous
areas for possible landslides.
