Japanese publishers to Crack down China operated "Pirated Manga Websites"

Japanese government in cooperation with the legitimate and major publishers will be cracking down those who distribute illegal copies of manga online, demanding all website operators to remove all Japanese Manga on all their sites.

Staring this coming Friday, Japanese government together with 30 more Japanese manga publishers will send a request on all 300 more websites via electronic mail or other communication means telling them to shut down its websites, in which this website offer free  Japanese manga to its subscribers.


Unauthorized websites that offers pirated manga operates in Spain, South Korea and China. If those website owners will not comply with the demands they will be facing legal action by the local courts.

Japanese government and official publisher will open a legitimate website to provide authorized websites that can publish Japanese products. This action will aim external fans that have paid legally for them to enjoy popular works.


Due to increasing availability of copyrighted works online for free, creators and publishers experience difficult way to gain fees in which originally to be paid to them. With this it cause a massive decline with the entire industry.
