Who’s texting, who’s sleeping? – SONA 2014

During the recent SONA of the Philippine President, limited people who were given privilege to witness in front as President Aquino convey  his speech, those  few who were inside Batasan Plenary Hall considered to be lucky.

People of the Philippines were listening as the speech was delivered, as what we observed during the plenary hall. Some were busy touching their phones and the worst part was that some were banging their heads on the seats asleep.

Last Monday President Aquino delivered his one before the last speech dated July 28, 2014, he have highlighted benefits of the DAP the controversial Disbursement Acceleration Program, the fact that this has become the controversial issue among all the issues nailed to the Aquino Administration.

The controversial DAP issue resulted to arguments among different government officials and also with the public. But the president repeats “he can’t force everyone to abide.”
