Philippine President assured
members of PNP (Philippine National Police) that modernization of police force
will pursue without DAP. Php4 trillion for PNP’s pension and other needs to be
directed to the agency.
In celebration of the 113th
anniversary of PNP at Camp Crame, President Aquino allocated large amount in
2015 for the acquisition of firearms, fixed pension system and housing projects
for the Philippine police force.
These moves of the government
will improve their lives (policemen) while the government upgrades its
visibility and capability as well.
“Do not worry about government’s plan
to ‘scoot, communicate and shoot’ not pushing in the course of the decision on
the DAP. We will continuously taking steps to make sure modernization without any
interruption,” Aquino said.
Philippine government successfully
achieved its pistol ratio. Unlike before, new police would have to purchase firearms
for those who will retire proof that there was something wrong with the
previous system.
