Roxas may turn down Alliance with Binay - as Senators Enrile, Estrada and Revilla were allies of the Vice President

Secretary Roxas, a presumptive candidate for the presidential race by the ruling of LP (Liberal party) doused with cold water on the suggestions towards the coalition with UNA (United Nationalist Alliance) of Vice President Binay.

Roxas said that it is not about Binay who will continue Aquino’s Legacy on good governance, “choosing critically the right one without doubt that will continue President Aquino’s clean governance and program.”

Initially Roxas clearly stated that UNA was against DAP and other budget reforms by the Aquino administration.

 “LP was committed to the platform and leadership of Aquino and his anticorruption plan as well as his pledge with our bosses [the people of the Philippines],” he said. “In short, we are committed by the programs roofed by daang matuwid.”
