Mayor Jun-Jun Binay – Makati New Building is a World Class

The newly constructed Makati City Hall were not just some sort of a parking building, but it is a “world-class” structure that would benefit not only its people, but the residents and the clients of Makati City, Mayor Binay said on a Senate hearing.

“Bago po ako magsimula, nais ko pong linawin at ulit-ulitin na ang nasabing proyekto ay hindi parking building o gusali para sa parking lamang. Ito ay office building ng Makati City Hall na may mga floors para sa mga sasakyan,” Mayor Binay said.

The Newly constructed Makati City Hall 2 has features similar to “green building.” Meaning it has a deck of L.E.D. lights panals and glass walls.

 “Mayroon din itong granite flooring, centralized air-conditioning, dalawang elevators, mga conference room at mini-function hall sa iba’t ibang palapag, at iba pang facilities at modern amenities na makikita sa isang modernong office building. Kumpleto po ang mga lamesa, silya, mga computers at ibang gamit pang-opisina. Lahat po yan ay kasama sa over-all cost ng Building 2.”

And in order to ensure stability and strength of the newly constructed building, the area stands in a “Soft Soil” and a pile of steels used as foundation.

Mayor Binay said that it was a clear that allegations against them were motivated politically.
