Former Major General Palparan,
wanted for the disappearance of two students in University of the Philippines
year 2006 has been arrested.
The former General was arrested
in Manila, Sta. Mesa by the agents of NBI (National Bureau of Investigation).
For almost eight years of hiding,
finally the former general is in the hands of the Philippine authority,
“Kinailangan pa umanong lumusot sa
mga bubong ng mga operatiba ng NBI para masukol ang dating heneral. Nagbago
umano ang itsura nito ngunit positibo namang naituro.”
Palparan was among the 'high-profile
fugitives' by the Philippine government.

ulo na mismong si Pangulong Noynoy Aquino pa ang nagtaas.
Palparan went hiding after the Bulacan
RTC judge issued warrant arrest for him, Lt. Col. Felipe Anotado Jr., S/Sgt. Edgardo
Osorio and M/Sgt. Rizal Hilario for the disappearance of UP students Karen
Empeño and Sherlyn Cadapan on June 26, 2006.
