United States call for freeze Irritates China

The United States proposal to freeze provocative actions in South China Sea gets a hold response from China and other Asian nations in the Southeast, in Washington’s effort on China’s aggressive actions.

China’s annoyance emerged when United States use regional security meeting in Myanmar to set up its engagement in relation to maritime tension by calling a moratorium on all nation affected by the dispute issue such as the planting of Oil rig.


Philippine has also called a freeze in progress with the three step plan in order to ease the tension in the disputed area known to be a resource rich sea.

The regional forum joint by ministers and other top diplomats from Australia, Japan, China, India, Russia, Southeast Asia, the European Union and Among others.

ASEAN and United States have common responsibility among others to ensure maritime security on lands, ports and critical sea.


We as members should work hand in hand to manage this tension in South China Sea peacefully in the basis of international law.
