Recently China scolded G-7 on its
joint statement towards the rising tension on South China Sea. China urged its
right to do whatever they want and by letting the other countries intervene

United States Secretary John
Kerry will force down voluntary freeze on any actions involving territorial
disputes in South China Sea, despite the rejection of Beijing during its presence
in the ASEAN Forum recently in Myanmar.

State Department Daniel Russel a
senior diplomat on East Asia said that the G-7 call was not new idea, "but common sense”
The priority statement by G-7 was to lower down tensions in South China Sea, in which about USD 5 trillion of
maritime traffic passes per annum. China and other four members of the ten nations
on ASEAN rival claims.
“Regional economy is way too
important and very fragile for any claimant or any country to use threat of its
military for retaliation or coercive effort.” Russel told on a report
