Bagong Alyansang Makabayan blast Aquino over Binay attacks

Once again in a surprise move by Bayan (Bagong Alyansang Makabayan) tagged as motivated politically charges and the non—stop investigation by the Senate against Vice President Binay.

In a released statement by the chairperson of Bayan Carol Araullo he said that the administrations attack on Binay is “clearly hypocritical” while they cover its allies.

“It is clearly hypocritical for the President Aquino to keep under control his attack dogs against the vice president and other leaders of opposition, while shielding his allies from similar demands and mechanisms for accountability,” Araullo said.

She noted that administration—led Senate have already done three hearings in the alleged overpriced Makati building.

“And the Worse, the administration Aquino continues to be responsible for the plunder of national coffers under his watch through the redesigned the pork barrel system of the Philippines. He has gone to the extent of threatening Supreme Court, proposing legal redefinition of the ‘savings’ and amends Constitution to clip powers of Supreme Court and maintain DAP and other form of presidential pork,” she said.

Araullo noted on Binay’s early announcement towards his plan on 2016 plans. He invited moves from his opponents to question his record.

But Araullo stressed that vice president needs to explain on the charges.
