A long time world Champion boxing
Pacquiao may eventually look to be the "champion" of political
world as well.
In an interview via Fox News,
"Manny Pacman" hinted his interest of one day running as
president in Philippines.
Giving his strongest indication
yet he will push up to the top of the political tree when he retires from ring.
"Pacman" a congressman and a hero in his country — admitted
that he had considered presidency of the 100 million—strong nation.
Drawing the parallels between his
politics and pugilism careers, former world champion said: "When
I start boxing, I was planning and thinking to become a champion. So when I
enter politics the same things will happen.”
Politics always was a major part
of the champion’s adult life. He was elected in the House of Representatives in
a tremor victory last 2010, and according to the news, Congressman filed five
bills.
For now, he has a boxing career
that is not yet overdue.
