Fewer people expressed its preference
for the current Vice President Binay for the next 2016 presidential elections. This
was the result on the latest Pulse Asia poll revealed.
The recent survey showed that the
preference for Binay dropped at 10 points, from 41 percent last June to 31
percent this September. However, the Vice President Binay continued to lead the
pack of presidential aspirants for 2016.

While the dip was consistent
among all locations and classes, those in the upper classes of A, B, and C
showed the greatest drop at 13 percentage points, from 36 percent in June to
only 23 percent in September.
Secretary Manuel Roxas said to be
the President Aquino III’s preferred successor, inched higher with 13 percent,
landing him in the second place. It was an improvement compared to the earlier
survey where he got only seven percent.
