Royal Defense EC645 T2s and EC725s

A heli with airborne capabilities, it will surely enhanced Thailand’s defense in its acquisition of mission—ready Helicopters rotorcraft Airbus types.

Royal Thai signed the acquisition of five EC645 T2s which will be deployed on a transport duty and any other missions that will be delivered first quarter of 2016. The recent purchase represents its first export order of EC145 T2.


The newest version and the most powerful model in the Airbus Helicopters’, Royal Air Force’s re-order Airbus choppers EC725, its military service is now obtaining another two of its tactical transport. The said aircraft will be provided in the year 2017, and will join the previously—ordered EC725s that was booked in 2012 scheduled for delivery in 2015.

EC645 T2 has modern digital cockpit with 4-axis autopilot. A maximum take-off about 3.7 tons, the said helicopter is also powered by the 2E powerplants that is equipped with a dual-channel full authority digital engine.

The said choppers were currently operated by some military forces in France, Malaysia, Thailand, Mexico, Brazil and in Indonesia, EC725’s durability and its reliability has already been confirmed.
