Senator Jinggoy’ ask “Five-hour excuse from detention”

The detained Senator is now asking Sandiganbayan to allow him to visit and to pay respect to departed relatives and friends this All Saints Day.

A two—page motion states that Senator Estrada asked anti—graft court 5th Division, chaired by the Associated Justice Jurado, that he (the senator) given five—hour pass to visit tombs of his loved ones.


Among those that he wanted is to visit the crypts of his grandmother, his grandfather Emilio and the uncles George and Paulino; his father in law Vitug; and his sister Jessica, all are buried at San Juan Cemetery.

Senator Estrada plans to pay visit to his best friend, Rudy Fernandez, at Heritage Park Cemetery in Fort Bonifacio.

Detained senator asked tribunal to allow him to go to the burial grounds from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. dated November 1.
