China produced Malaysian navy ship sinking at Lumut base

RMN or Royal Malaysian Navy vessel has taken a lot of water and listing heavily to port in Boustead Naval Shipyard docks at naval base. KD Perantau a navy spokesperson said that as the hydrographic vessel undergoing its refitting maintenance at the dock when it was flooded.

According to local authorities "efforts were being conducted in order to rescue the sinking vessel." No reported injuries or lives loss during the said incident."


The sad vessel was handed over to the Limbungan Boustead for maintenance works and expected to be handed back over to Navy next year. Spokesman said that the equipment on board on vessel, including the motor, its pumps and the navigation equipment had been taken off before the sad incident happen.
