Chinese National Arrested with a P20 Million worth Shabu

The Police operatives recently seized a Php20 million worth shabu or methamphetamine hydrochloride in a recent buy—bust operation in the City of Quezon.

Joel Pagdilao the Quezon City Police Senior Superintendent of Police District arrested the Chinese national identified as Jiacheng Shi, in the Masaya Street near corner of the Maginhawa Street Capitol Site.


Pagdilao said that the police operative acted as a buyer and bought from the suspect of one kilo shabu with an amount of Php1.5 million.

Police seized from suspect’s black Mazda with a plate number POA 949 extra four packs of the suspected shabu placed in Chinese Tea plastic contained that was stuffed inside a small sports bag at back of driver’s seat.

The four packs of the suspected shabu weighed one kilo each with estimated value of Php20 million pesos in total. The arrested suspect was then brought and detained in detention facility in Camp Karingal, Quezon.


The Chinese suspect is now facing raps for the violation of sections 5 and 11 or Possession of Prohibited and Dangerous Drugs under the RA 9165 or Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
