The official website of Globe was
hacked by group of hacktivists protesting Globe’s “poor internet connection service.”
The hacktivists group identified
themselves as the “BloodSec Hackers” which posted message said “Dear
Globe, your internet connection service is not worthy what we clients pay for. Please
do something or expect consequence in the future. This warning is just the
beginning. Expect Us!”
The hacktivists threatened that says
“all
of your data belong to us now!”
As 1:00pm of Friday, four pages remained
offline with message saying “we’re currently conducting a maintenance
activity to improve system performance. Sorry for the inconvenience.”
Coorms reported that most of the Globe
subscribers unable to enjoy good service in the internet usage because of “Data
Capping” and “Throttling.”
Globe Telecommunications authorities
no yet issue their statement on alleged breach of its website.
The Philippine ISP’s have been criticized
for poor service after Philippines was reported as the slowest internet speed
in entire Southeast Asian Region.
