Jejomar Binay the Philippine Vice
President showed an important attitude being a leader, his recent decision to
back out on the scheduled debate with the Philippine Senator Trillanes IV came
as a no surprise.
The senator recalled how VP Binay
stated a promise to help him when he staged uprising against administration to
the former President Arroyo in the year 2007. Trillanes said that Binay was a part
of the group planning of the Manila Peninsula siege.
VP Binay was the Makati’s mayor
that time, allegedly promised to the mobilize city hall employees, and the
city’s urban poor, and groups to join Trillanes walking out of the court
hearing. Senator Trillanes was then on trial for 2003 Oakwood Mutiny, and another
uprising against Arroyo government.
“At the end of the uprising day of
the siege, Binay could not be seen” Senator Trillanes said,
For Sen. Trillanes, the incident
and the decision of Binay to back out this November 27 debate will say a lot of
things about his character.
“It only shows his lack of
character, being untrustworthiness, and lack of intention to face people
regarding allegations brought to him.”
