“The Philippine Vice President has
all the right and freedom to leave the administration Cabinet if he feels that
current administration is on the wrong path,” those were the line said
by the President of the Republic of the Philippines.
President Aquino, in an interview
with the media that was televised said that Binay should present answers
instead of criticizing “his” administration.
The president also made a remark for
the amid calls for VP Binay to resign from his Cabinet as head of Housing on the
Urban Development and Coordinating Council and as the Presidential Adviser on the
OFW Affairs.
Though VP Binay has its close
ties with Aquino family and part of the administration Cabinet, he is also an
opposition leader and United Nationalist Alliance’s standard bearer for the upcoming
2016 elections.
The president’s allies said that
VP Binay should not be allowed to remain in his appointed posts while
continuing to lambast LP (Liberal Party)
