Almost 50 bodies belonging to the
government troops were recovered by authorities of Maquindanao province.
The earlier report was confirmed
by Sr. Superintendent Noel Armilla, however as of this moment they are waiting
for the final update as to the exact number of fatalities in the recent firefight
that known to be a member of the Philippine Special Elite Action Forces.
Local police authorities said
that 49 were killed in the firefight between the Police towards MILF (Moro
Islamic Liberation Front and Bangsamoro Islamic Freedom Fighters in Tukalanipao
village.
The recovered dead bodies were
immediately brought to the 6th Infantry Division of Philippine Army
Headquarters for disposition. The cops was then honored in Camp Crame by
Secretary mar Roxas together with Deputy General Leonrdo Espina and after the
ceremony the secretary flew in Maguindanao to discuss with the deadly incident.
