Militant group Abu Sayyaf
deployed its women special force fighters as front liners to combat against Army
rangers in the mountains of Sulu.
The information was revealed by
Chester Ramos, Task Group Zambasulta spokesman and he also confirmed the four
wounded rangers during the encounter with Abu Sayyaf militant group under Lucky
9 group known as the Ajang-ajang with Hatib Aseri and Arok as the sub-leader.
According to the four wounded
rangers, as they come near with their target
the Abu Sayyaf immediately
deployed their special combatants composed of women’s fighting as front liners.
The wounded rangers are now at the General Hospital of Camp Navarro.
The late Sunday fighting killed a
ranger from the army and other four wounded when they clashed with an estimate
of 60 Abu Sayyaf at Red Mountain, Barangay Bungkaong Patikol town.
In total the government army
suffered a six wounded men including the other two soldiers that was wounded in
the ambush incident in Patikul.
