EMB 314 is an aircraft specially
designed for light attacks, it can support close air and aerial missions in low
level environment threats.
Other call it A-29, designed to maneuver over extreme
temperature like rugged terrains, high temperatures and even high humidity
conditions at a low heat mark. With its advanced weapon system that delivers
super precision and guided munitions that will perfectly take down targets.
Philippine government is on the eye
with Embraer EMB 314, also known A-29 or ALX. This new aircraft will replace Philippine Broncos OV-10 thru
the Philippine modernization program.
EMB 314 is a two crew aircraft, a
pilot and navigator tandem with automatic ejection seats. Engine powered by
turboprop at 1,196 KW. Its maximum speed is up to 520km/h and can stay on flight
for eight hours and twenty four minutes.
Super Tucano EMB 314 is armed with 2x12.7mm machine guns in wings
that can fire up to 950 rpm. 1x20mm GIAT M20A1 cannon with 650 rpm placed below
fuselage. It has 4x70mm LM-70 and LAU-68A rockets.

insurgency operations and border patrol.”
