Philippine M2 Browning Overview

M2 is a .50 Caliber heavy machine gun was commonly used in the late WWI. Like any other models similar to M2 Browning, this version is more powerful.

Browning” was designed similar to M1919 browning, this M2 browning was manufactured by SACO  industries (pronounced as Sack-o) in United States. M2 Browning heavy machine guns as one main function, to knock down ranged targets.


This heavy machine gun is useful in fighting infantry of boats and lightly armored vehicles. It can take down low flying aircraft's. 

M2 heavy machine gun has cyclic fire rates, this heavy barrel is air cooled that can fire up to 450 to 600 rounds per minute. At effective range up to 2,000 yards when applied by tripod. The gun without ammunition weights 38 kilograms.

If installed on Philippine military vehicles, the government will allocate USD28,000 per M2 browning excluding ammunition's.
