Rare video on Chinas territorial battle in South China Sea “A Lie”

Journalist from China exclaims the triumphant raising of the National flag in Huangyan Island. The flag is on a top of a coral stone overhang on high seas facing Philippine northwest.

The Chinese military personnel execute snappy salute on the raised flag during a ceremony to signify Beijing’s direct control on disputed Shoal, 80km away from Malaysian coast.  The danger was that, small Vietnamese vessels were rams on the contested waters.

A video scene which includes footage that has never before seen by people are culled on a TV documentary titled “Journey on the South China Sea” aired by China network. It has English subtitles and it was also posted on its website for a wider audience.

China is known to be a nation with steeped secrecy. The documentary has a rare footed on China's rare peek in the strategic water claims. Whole story was told in from of a CCTV journalist separately accompanied by maritime patrols, surveillance personnel, fishermen, law enforcers and experts in its journey to the waters.

The Statement bellow was quoted from “asusina” on his view regarding China's aggressive Claims.

Lies. Utter lies.

If such were the case, then why weren't those areas of the South China Sea (which were supposed to be part of China's territory since the Han dynasty) NOT included in the PRCs official maps during early 50sto 80s?

Why didn't Beijing protest when US airmen from Clark and Subic routinely used Scarborough Shoal for their bomb-dropping practice, if the shoal were truly part of PRC territory?

Another proof of the PRCs propensity for lies can be seen in the paragraph stating: "China also revealed a "top secret" operation it staged in August 1994. Contrary to the Chinese assurances at the time that they were just building shelters by fishermen’s, butChina admitted in the documentary that the structures were meant to serve as a depot for supplies and is now a military outpost equipped with satellite dishes and functions as a Chinese military forward base in the Spratlys."
The PRC LIED about "just building fishermen's shelters" on Mischief Reef, which is only 130 miles from Palawan--well within the Philippines UNCLOS-stipulated 200-mile Exclusive Economic Zone--and NEVER before inhabited or governed by the PRC until it illegally occupied it in 1994, through lying, intimidation and deceit.

These totally bogus "historical" claims by the PRC were made up only in very recent times. The China of the 50s, 60s, 70s and 80s did not have the economic and naval power that could possibly back up such ridiculously absurd geographical and maritime claims that the PRC Communist Party are making today.

Thanks to western investment into China since the 80s, the PRCs economy has grown to be No. 2 GDP in the world. This has enabled the Chinese Communist Party to afford more hardware and 50-cent propagandists, in order to antagonize its neighbors through lies and intimidation. If the PRCs economy keeps growing, it will only finance China's bluster and increase the chances of military conflict in the region.

The most peaceful way to avoid this from happening is for western nations to start decreasing investment and trade with the PRC--just enough so that the PRC economy goes back down to around No. 10 in the world. This should be enough for Chinese citizens to enjoy good standard of living (much better than during the cannibalistic times of Chairman Mao, when poor Chinese villagers had to eat their dead relatives for lack of food) without the Communist Party having too much spare change to finance its arrogant opportunistic expansionism throughout the region.

Every dollar, yen, euro, pound, peso and won invested into the PRC or spent on items made in China, only contributes to the Communist Party's ability to arrogantly bully China's neighbors.
