President Benigno Aquino said Friday
that the modernization of the Philippine national police will be pursued no
matter what happens, even if Supreme Court declares DAP unlawful
This statement was confirmed by
the President during his speech on the 111th anniversary of the PNP,
saying that government planned to acquire more radio and patrol cars for the
effectiveness of Police.
"Huwag kayong mag-alala na 'di
matutupad ang ating plano para sa 'shoot, scoot, and communicate,' dahil sa
naging desisyon sa DAP. Patuloy tayong gumagawa ng hakbang para masigurong
tuloy-tuloy ang inyong modernisasyon," Aquino Said.
Based from the information
gathered from DBM (Department of Budget and Management) budget has been
allocated to the PNP under the DAP.
Recently Supreme Court of the Philippine
declared the legality on the usage of DAP. But the administration believe that
DAP is legal and it had help the government in fasten the progress of its
project.
