Chinese foreign ministry blamed United
States for put fuel on tensions in the disputed South China Sea by cheering other
countries to employ in dangerous conduct, following an uptick in the tensions
between Philippines and Vietnam to China.
China week accused Vietnam for
intentionally colliding with China ships in South China Sea after Vietnam declares
that Chinese ships used water cannon and slam into eight of its ships near an
oil rig.
The US called China's deployment
of its rig "provocative and unhelpful" to the security in its region,
urging restraint. Chinese spokeswoman Hua Chunying foreign ministry repeated
that the waters the rig was operating around the Paracel Islands were at the Chinese
territory and no other country had the right to interfere.
"We urge United States to act in
accordance maintaining broader picture of regional security and peace, on the issue
and stop making careless remarks," Hua said.
