Philippine Senator Nancy Binay is
unwavering that their family did not steal any public funds from the allegedly Makati
Hall Building price overpricing which had its budget of P2.7 billion.
In a television show broadcast,
the senator said that “not a single eyewitness in Senate Blue
Ribbon sub-committee hearing directly pointed out to any overpricing in the
construction of the Makati building.”
"Wala hong overpricing. Wala ho
kaming ninakaw diyan," Binay said in the interview.

Binay, the senator's brother and father currently facing plunder complaint on overpricing
of the building.
Senator Pimentel said that “Senate
Blue Ribbon subcommittee will decide on a possible ocular inspection of the
building to determine whether the structure is worth its hefty price tag.”
In the interview, Binay said that
aside from complainant Renato Bondal and Senators Antonio Trillanes IV and Alan
Peter Cayetano, no other person has pointed out that the building is
overpriced.
