600 troops and planes from Australia on White House War on IS

Tony Abbott the Prime Minister of Australia said that they would deploy around 600 troops to United Arab Emirates to join the call of US—led to the international coalition gearing up for its war against Islamic State jihadists.

The Prime Minister announced two days after the terror alert in Canberra was lifted to “high” on the growing concern about Australian jihadists returning from combating in Iraq and Syria.

Abbott said that the deployment of about “400 air personnel and about 200 military personnel” was a call to accept the formal request from White House for Australia in order to contribute to the international coalition against rampaging Islamist faction.

Australia was not arranging a combat troops but contributing to the international pains to prevent humanitarian crisis from expanding.”

There are obvious decisions to be taken before the Australian forces will be committed to combat Iraq,” Abbott said.
