China ask for exchange of ideas to resolve sea disputes

Chinese Vice—Premier Gaoli said that they are now ready to work with its neighboring countries to put into practice the Declaration on the Conduct of Parties in the disputed West Philippine Sea (South China Sea) given to the proper dialogue.

“China is ready to work with Asean countries to implement the Declaration on Conduct of Parties in the South China Sea,” this was said on his speech during the opening ceremony of Caexpo (China—Asean Expo Summit).

Gaoli was the keynote speaker during the 11th Caexpo trade and business fair for Asean countries. China has been so aggressive in its claims to the resource—rich South China Sea, and continued its presence and its reclamation activities to some reefs and shoals in areas within Philippines’ exclusive economic zone. China also embroiled territorial rows on its neighboring countries.

“China is now ready to join efforts with its neighboring countries in the world to pursue peace so that we will be able  to live in amity and enjoy harmonious development,” Gaoli said.
