Mayweather had an easy experience
out boxing Maidana in their recent rematch at MGM Grand Las Vegas to retain his
WBC and WBA welterweight titles.
Mayweather display s his boxing
skills and movement that kept Maidana at bay throughout the fight and won on
all three judges’ with the scorecards, 116—111 the same for 2 judges and 115—112.
The American stretched his unbeaten record to 47-0.
The recent fight though was
different as what Mayweather shown, he started first two rounds by luminously
using his on the side movement to stay away from Maidana. However Maidana had
his moments including the landing of his best punch of the fight in the third
round — a right straight before the closing bell that have dazed Mayweather
near his corner.
Mayweather faced the unavoidable
question about fighting Manny Pacquiao.
"If the Manny Pacquiao fight comes
around, let's make it happen," the chamion said to the delight the
crowd.
