The forty Philippine peacekeepers
was risking the lives of other military soldiers after having their “Greatest
Escape” at the Heights of Golan, this was said by the United Nation commander.
The Philippines response was
considered to be none—professional by not following the orders directed by the
commander to the soldiers, these words were firmly said by the Commander of the
Observer Force Lieutenant General Singha.
"The non-professional proceedings done
by the Filipino peacekeepers have endangered lives of Fijian soldiers."
“The peacekeepers have disobeyed
the orders the time when the negotiation was done, ceasefire towards the rebel
was on negotiation so that they can exit the area without any trouble.”
"The peacekeepers were not under such
orders” United Nation Undersecretary Herve Ladsou said.
"What have just happen was act of
cowardice, and that was their judgment”
But the higher echelon of the
United Nation agrees that the decision was correct.
