Japanese warships will arrive in Manila

At least three Japanese warships are expected to arrive in Manila for a goodwill visit.

The two countries share common rival claimant in China over South and East China Seas. Three vessels of Japanese Maritime Self Defense Force are the TV3508 by Captain Morita, TV3518 by Commander Azuma, and the DD151 by Commander Kawauchi with one SH-60J Sea Hawk helicopter onboard.

The ships have 730 officers and crew under the command of Admiral Hideki Yuasa.

Rear Admiral Yuasa will also make a courtesy call to the Philippine Navy officials.
