Voters urged to “CHOOSE WISELY” in the 2016 Election

Former senior government officials group is now urging the voters to be more wise and prudent in the selection of the country's potential leader, with amid allegations of corruption besetting the former and the sitting officials of the government.

FSGO Former Senior Government Officials released a statement advocating good leadership and good governance, without amid allegations of corruption thrown against various high—ranking in the government, ''we hope that all of these would help our voters understand the need for greater discernment when it is time to exercise our sacred responsibility to cast our votes."


The senior group issued official statement following the string of controversies involving country's high-ranking officials, including the Philippine Vice President and the Philippine National Police (PNP) chief.

Vice Presient Binay accused of illegal wealth by getting kickbacks from various government projects entered into government of Makati, where served as mayor for multiple terms beginning  since 1986.

The accusation towards the vice—president, who is a leading candidate for the coming president elections in 2016, with his alleged ownership of property in Batangas, Binay however denied owning the said property, saying he used to lease only 9 hectares for his piggery but divested his interest in agribusiness firm when he ran vice president in 2010.


Binay repeatedly dismissed all allegations against him, saying that all are politically motivated.
