Former senior government officials
group is now urging the voters to be more wise and prudent in the selection of the
country's potential leader, with amid allegations of corruption besetting the former
and the sitting officials of the government.

Officials released a statement advocating good leadership and good governance, without
amid allegations of corruption thrown against various high—ranking in the
government, ''we hope that all of these would help our voters understand the need
for greater discernment when it is time to exercise our sacred responsibility
to cast our votes."
The senior group issued official statement
following the string of controversies involving country's high-ranking
officials, including the Philippine Vice President and the Philippine National
Police (PNP) chief.
Vice Presient Binay accused of illegal
